The mere fact that the rebels were capable of fighting off an AT-AT and an AT-ST , as well as a group of stormtroopers was rather impressive on its own . Especially when there were only minor loses . With the help of a fleet of x-wing they took the Empire's forces out . But , it was only a meager battle . They celebrated like they had won the war . Completely unaware that it was all part of Lord Vader's plan . The silence was utter , mind a few panicked birds , choked sobs as soldiers inspected fallen comrades , and frightened ewoks . Until the Sith Lord had emerged from the shadows , igniting his lightsaber . And he slaughtered them all .
